For the male driver part (sorry I couldn't resist), I got in a car accident going to pick up prescriptions for Dave this evening. Little me (sorta little) in my RAV 4 slowed down to turn right into the pharmacy and there was a car there on my right side!!!!! It's one lane!!!!! He was not happy, he being the other driver. I held it together, no tears. The policeman said it was his fault, he argued....a lot and changed his story several time. "I was beside her....She was behind me...... I was behind her...." Oh, this was a good one "there's room for 2 cars there". It was his fault. My front right bumper is messed up, the left side of his car is messed up. I'm happy no one was hurt. Did I say he was wrong?
Dave has no appointments tomorrow. I did try to talk him into an assignment....eat food and drink. It's a battle that I won't surrender to, honest.
Lee, it must have been sweet (however difficult the situation) to see the officer side with you in a situation where the guy was going nuts, and he was obviously wrong. Yay for the right things happening to the right people! oxox
ReplyDeleteThe gals are doing it too. West Main St. is three accidents a day! Yesterday was the Mac truck coming off an exit at 90 mph and that is no exaggeration. It was a male driver.
ReplyDeleteLee, how distressing to have that experience. Glad all is well. Definately cool the dairy part of Dave's diet. Last friday we had so many MVC's in ER!! And it was a beautiful day, clear. So I guess that means there are crappy drivers out there, Yikes - C
ReplyDeleteWhat a moron!!! Glad you're ok!
ReplyDeleteWhew- thanks everyone. I don't want to do that again.
