Another week at work is almost done. It was a good week. Today I saw a cancer patient whose spouse was staying in the room. When I was done and went over to speak to the spouse.."how are you?" Those were the most thoughtful words I heard from others. We talked about how they had been married for over 60 years. I can't even imagine having to saying goodbye after that long. It was fulfilling for me to take the time to talk. To look at the whole patient and those surrounding. I'm thankful to everyone who did that for us. Time for bed.
peace, love, groove.
Lee I know you will be able to use your experience--not only as a nurse but especially as Dave's #1 supporter and caregiver--to offer great comfort to those in similar circumstances who cross your path..
ReplyDeleteThank's Mimi
ReplyDeleteYour pictures were stunning Lee. I love when the wet snow sticks to every little branch...like God had a really big jar of whiteout, painting virtually everything. See you this weekend. Love, Kay
