Next month it's my choice for book club and I've picked "Grapes of Wrath". I never read it, but saw the movie. How do I read over 400 pages in 5 weeks? Start reading!
peace, love, groove
Our blog is called Camp David because that's what Dave calls the backyard when he has campfires and I'm out of town. The purpose of this blog is to communicate how Dave is doing with his cancer treatment. We will update as often as we can and you can check in whenever you want.
Maggie plays Wii Tennis all the time... have you played it? What's your fave Wii game?
ReplyDeleteDid Grapes of Wrath in high school, one of Mrs. Welbourne's classes. I loved her, she was so cool...it was either Modern American Lit or Writers of the American Dream. I took both...I remember sitting in the auditorium watching the movie (or, not watching and goofing off...)
ReplyDeleteBTW, we're coming up for Art Fair on the 9th. Hope to see you! Miss you!
ReplyDeleteI should probably go, i may be in a bunch of mulch!!
ReplyDeleteYes, go! The mulch will wait. Now that I'm in Indiana, where not a lot happens, it amazes me how much I took for granted when I lived in SJ. There were entire summers when I never even went to the beach!
ReplyDeleteDB, love Wii tennis, almost to the point of tendinitis
ReplyDeleteWhen I read that much my eyes start tearing. The new Cancer treatment announcements had me think of Dave today just like I think of Freddie Mercury when a new AIDS treatment is discovered. One of the patients’ hade lung cancer too so very exciting news I just hope that people can afford it! Love Ya Dave!
