It will be 5 months since Dave died next week. Wow, FIVE MONTHS. Wow.

Sunny and cold
Great sun so far this week... and I need to get the Bluebird house out there. At least the birds are really liking the 2 new feeders I got. It's almost spring and I'm looking forward to a little more energy. I get home, check emails and facebook, eat dinner and most nights go to the bedroom to watch TV and read. I have several delusions of grandeur during the day. .... ... i'll get pictures scanned from Dave's tribute, i'll clean the basement, i'll sort through clothes for goodwill...... nada gets done. Well, maybe this weekend. Just happy spring is getting closer and hopefully everything will get completed....some day.

I totally relate to your well-intentioned To-Do list that never gets done!
ReplyDeleteYour doing it all so give yourself some credit.I know it has been almost half-a-year and it is like yesterday. Fixed up the casio keyboard Dave & Roger used for years and it's going on tour now!
ReplyDeleteOMG girl, you are singin my song....full of intentions of getting stuff done, but the reality after the workday is....checking emails and facebook, cooking/eating dinner, reading the paper/watching TV....zzzzzzzzz :)
ReplyDeleteand in the end... what's more important: the closeness of friends via social media, or getting things checked off your list? Perhaps you've found a balance, but if not it will get there. Enjoy life.
