So today Tim and Edd came over and cleaned up the upstairs so there's room for window work. They even vacuumed. Thanks Tim and Edd. That's just the way life is.... something ends and something begins.
peace, love, groove
Our blog is called Camp David because that's what Dave calls the backyard when he has campfires and I'm out of town. The purpose of this blog is to communicate how Dave is doing with his cancer treatment. We will update as often as we can and you can check in whenever you want.
A lot of great music was created up there. The brewMeister for Bells came from Germany and worked for Pro Co sound for a while when he first came over as a computer guy.
ReplyDelete25 years is a lifetime of beautiful memories, but in this phase of your grieving the memories are painful. It's really hitting home that he's gone. The coming of spring...that must be so hard. An empty spring, without Dave.
ReplyDeleteHaving said all that, I have to tell you that I believe with all my heart that one day your memories will bring more smiles than tears. I don't know how long that will take, but I do believe it will happen. Keep yourself open to life, and one day it will all be ok.
Love....
Miss you Dave!
ReplyDeleteThe first time I ever had Bell's beer was at your house about 10 years ago. You and Dave were having a party in your back yard, and I think it was first time I had been to your house. I remember being so amazed at all the landscaping you two had done. I have photos from that party, by the way - will show you sometime. Long story short, I will always associate Bell's with Dave, so here's a toast of Oberon to our dear friend!
