Please have a safe and Happy New Year's. xoxoxo
peace, love, groove
Our blog is called Camp David because that's what Dave calls the backyard when he has campfires and I'm out of town. The purpose of this blog is to communicate how Dave is doing with his cancer treatment. We will update as often as we can and you can check in whenever you want.
You too sweetie--savor the memories.
ReplyDeleteLove....
that's what the memories are there for, Lee: savoring. oxox
ReplyDeleteLee,
ReplyDeleteRe-reading and re-reading the blog will bring tons of comfort. I cherish mine!
Happy New Year from your friend in Texas!
I hope you can transcribe the blog into a print version. It's a beautiful testament to your marriage.
ReplyDelete....hoping that the New Year will bring distance from the painful memories, and undiminished joy in remembering the good ones. I think you've got the right take on the resolutions!
ReplyDeletePLG, Lee....see you next year.
Thanks all.... love to all.
ReplyDeleteI found some old emails from Dave so I printed them out and posted them on the kitchen walls.
ReplyDeleteI have a folder in me email account labeled: Dale. In there are my dad's meager attempts at 78 years old to type an email letter to me. Punctuation, grammar and capitalization are haphazard...but I treasure everyone of those emails and read through them often.
ReplyDeleteThis blog is has filled that same place in my heart for the past year. Please Lee, keep on writing. It's a tiny glimpse into your life now - and confirmation that 'everything's gonna be alright'!
